Alcatel OT-706 is another nice phone from Alcatel. When saying nice, you can understand both its nice design and features. The phone is equipped with many high end specs you know.
The Alcatel OT-706 has a 2.4 inch TFT resistive Touchscreen with 262K colors. The device has a 1.3MP camera the resolution of which is 1280.0 X 1024.0 Pixels. It also features Digital Zoom, quite a nice feature which you will need for taking photos.
The device itself has been made in a candybar form factor. This light mobile phone is very easy in use and for keeping it in a pocket. As for the dimensions of the phone they are as follows: 96.2 X 53 X 14.1 mm and the weight is 80g.
The liion650mAh battery of the Alcatel OT-706 provides up to 9 hours of talk time. The device works in the networks GSM 900 / 1800 Mhz.
As for the 3G, I should disappoint you as Alcatel OT-706 is not compatible with it. The device sports bluetooth V2.0, GPRS Class 10, Wi-Fi and does not support EDGE.
